Kansas City Industrial Council All-District Board Meeting Speaker Series: Jason Klindt, Sr. Director of External Affairs for Evergy

Our first speaker of the year is Evergy Sr. Director of External Affairs Jason Klindt, who will be discuss Evergy’s plan to construct gas-fired “mini power plants” throughout the metro to keep up with increasing energy demands. Klindt will also address how the gas burning generators will improve infrastructure while minimizing airborne pollutants.

Members of any district are welcome to attend both KCIC’s board meeting and the speaker session. The board meeting will begin at 7:45 a.m. with a hard stop at 8:30 a.m. After board business concludes, the guest speaker will speak from 8:30-9:30 a.m. These meetings will be held in the EDCKC’s 2nd floor Conference Room, 300.
