Jackson County Detention Center Tour

Program: Jackson County is nearing the completion of the $301 million investment in the Blue Valley Industrial Association. Join county representatives for a hard hat tour of the new facility currently under construction. The project will serve as a visual reflection of the county’s public safety system focusing on mindful solutions to healing and rehabilitation.
Important Details: Arrive and park at the JEDunn Safety Trailer for a safety briefing before we leave for the tour. (See Map Below) The project is an active construction site. The county is asking you to bring your own hard hat, safety vest, and wear closed toe shoes for the tour. If you have extra hard hats and safety vests, please bring some to share.
